Bangkok - Day 2

Second day, take a skytrain from Nana station to Siam station and interchange to the next route to Saphan Taksin and it cost only 35 baht. From there take a ferry/boat to Tha Tien where the Grand Palace is...(18 baht) that's about RM 1.80 per person. That's really cheap.

Picture of me and my friend.

Great sight-seeing.

Just reached Saphan Taksin jetty area, bunch of my friends discussing where to go about now...

Met a police tourist (Sakda Yindee), such a kind person who tell us where is the most famous place to visit around, and advised us to beware of taxi and tuk-tuk drivers offering ride to discount Jewellery stores because may ended up buying fake goods. Anything just call Tourist Police 1155.

Well the first place is the Ahuntha Samakhom Throne Hall, according to Sakda this is the place where (Anna & the King) shooting took place... as if we seem to care much about that...:p

Luckily, manage to took some nice pictures.

Next place was the so-called whitehouse in Bangkok.
Really that's about it, if you happen to be here and have nothing much to do then only consider this place...haha

Entrance to the Grand Palace, (Anantha Samakhom Throne Hall).

Open daily from 8.30am till 3.30pm, ticket sold until 3.00pm.
Please dress properly according to the rules of Grand Palace, no sandal, no short pant, no sleeveless shirt.

Checkout the price is only 250 baht...

Such a non-regretable place to visit, interested to find out more can login to www.palaces.thai.net .

The next one is the Watpho, 50 baht per person.

Here is the longest sleeping buddha I ever seen, very impressive very much longer than the one we use to see from Penang.

After an adventures day, it's dinner time at Suan Lum Night Bazaar.

The entrance at Suan-Lum.

Look at some cafes around this place...

There is an open air food court with lot of food stalls, fruits juices, beers to choose from...

After dinner around 9.30pm, it's time for shopping again and there is only less than 3 hours to go before they close. This place is quite similar to Chaktuchak Market, things sold here are slightly more expensive than Chaktuchak, better atmosphere, cooler too and it is open daily from 3.00pm till midnight... and most importantly some really nice t-shirts I have bought for myself...hehe

Well that's all about the second day, very tired and my legs it's aching badly...
